Location
Directions to Waiora from Dunedin. To get to Waiora Scout Camp from the Octagon in Dunedin: Go to the upper Octagon and drive up Stuart Street up the hill and over the top to Kaikorai Valley. Be in the right hand lane by the time you get to coming down the other side and go straight ahead into Taieri Road towards the lights and not left along Kaikorai Valley Road. Go through the lights and continue along Taieri Road past what was Wakari Hospital on the left and past Ashburn Hall on the right out into the country. Continue over the hill and down Three Mile Hill Road to the bottom of the hill. Turn right where it is sign posted Scout Camp into Silverstream Valley Road. Travel for 5 kms until you see Waiora Scout camp on the right after the bridge with a ford beside it. You will be there!
